A proud week at Baby Book Club HQ last week as we shipped our very first boxes and have been delighted by the response of our happy customers!  This month’s theme was Under the Sea – an exciting and enchanting world for our little ones to explore.  As such we made sure to choose books that popped with colour and depicted the many wonderful worlds beneath the waves…

Books in the box this month

  • Bright Stanley and the Cave Monster – a fun adventure exploring a mysterious cave
  • In the Ocean – a fun flip board book
  • The Tiniest Mermaid (girls) – a magical tale with equally magical illustrations
  • Gilbert the Great (boys) – a story that explores the concept of loss

Bright Stanley and the Cave Monster

We love the bold, colourful illustrations throughout this book.  A beautiful depiction of the mysterious world under the sea!

In the Ocean

This is a fun one for your little ones to explore on their own.  The book is split in half allowing little readers to create their own under the sea creatures –  much to their amusement as they grow.

The Tiniest Mermaid

Exclusively for the girls this month, we included The Tiniest Mermaid.  Every girl loves to dream of magical worlds and Delphie is the perfect character to take our hand and show us how the mermaids live.

Gilbert the Great

An alternative book for the boys, although it could be enjoyed by everyone,  Gilbert the Great is a heart warming story about the loss of a best friend.  It’s never too early to explore those complex emotions!

Which was your favourite?  We’d love to hear about your March unboxing and how (you and) your little ones enjoyed this month’s picks.  Join the conversation on Twitter @BabyBookClubUK
